BIOGRAPHY
Martino Vercesi was born in Milan. His passion for modern guitar began at a young age, and in 2002, he graduated with honors (10/10 cum laude) in classical guitar from the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan. He further honed his skills under the guidance of Bruno Giuffredi and Andrea Dieci for classical guitar, and Gigi Cifarelli, Luca Meneghello, and Pasquale Grasso for jazz guitar.
He has collaborated with renowned musicians of national prominence, including Luigi Bonafede, Tony Arco, Giovanni Falzone, Marco Vaggi, Sandro Cerino, Fabrizio Trullu, Ares Tavolazzi, Luca Dell’Anna, Mauro Battisti, Walter Calloni, Marcello Testa, Marco Micheli, Ferdinando Faraò, and Danilo Gallo, among others.
Martino has performed in some of the most prestigious theaters and jazz clubs both in Italy and abroad, such as Blue Note Milan, Auditorium “G. Verdi” Milan, Porgy and Bess Vienna, Jazz Club Chur, and Jazz Club Torino. He has also played live on radio broadcasts and received glowing reviews in specialized music magazines.
His discography includes several releases, both as a solo artist and as a sideman.
