Only For The Moment (CD Album)
Daniele Cordisco, Ben Paterson, Elio Coppola | Tosky Records®
An exceptional trio combining technical elegance and great interplay. The American organist, Ben Paterson, is accompanied by two long-standing musicians in the Italian music scene: Daniele Cordisco on guitar and Elio Coppola on drums. This project, “Only For The Moment”, proposes a nice jazz repertoire revisiting the style of the great Jimmy Smith. We also rediscover all the Jazz and Blues sounds that highlight the origins of the organist and singer from Philadelphia. The trio wears a whole mainstream outfit made up of different original compositions, written by each component of this new line-up.
Daniele Cordisco, (Campobasso,1988), boasts a professional musician career. He shared the stage with: Jeff Young, Fabrizio Bosso, Danilo Rea, Max Ionata, Gary Smulyan, Godwin Louis, Gege’ Munari, Giorgio & Dario Rosciglione, Jimmy LaRocca, Deidda brothers, Gregory Hutchinson, Sarah McKenzie, Ronnie Cuber, Roberto Gatto, Donna McElroy, Roy Hargrove, Esperanza Spalding, Denise King, Stjepko Gut and others.
