February 15, 2026 | Rome | A Journey Between Bach, Chopin, and Jazz Improvisation
On Saturday, February 15, 2026, Casa del Jazz in Rome hosts the live presentation of “My Inner Worlds“, the solo piano album by Ettore Carucci, released on Tosky Records.
Recorded at ‘La Ribattola’ Nicola Bulgari’s estate in Sarteano, the album explores the boundary between classical music and jazz through improvisations on harmonies by Bach, Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin, Ponce, and Chick Corea. The result is a work that preserves the original harmonic essence while dressing it in contemporary nuances.
On the Casa del Jazz stage, Carucci will recreate this intimate dialogue between tradition and improvisation, transforming every note into a whispered confidence to the audience.
Special Guest: Giorgio Rosciglione
As on the album, double bassist Giorgio Rosciglione — a legendary figure in Italian jazz — probably will join (not sure for now) Carucci on “Sadness” inspired by ‘Chopin’s Prelude in E minor’.
What Colleagues Are Saying
“Ettore gives a beautifully fresh look at these great classical pieces. He is somehow able to take Chopin, Bach, and Scriabin and offer a fresh perspective without taking anything away from the composer’s intent. BRAVO!”
— Sullivan Fortner, Grammy Award-winning pianist
