Guitarist and composer Luigi Masciari has collaborated live and in the studio with some of the most prestigious names on the national and international jazz scene. With several albums to his credit, he has recorded, among many others, with Aaron Parks (The G-Session), Micheal League (Viva de André), Jason Lindner (Somewhere In My Mind), Danilo Rea (Emoticons, Nosferatu) Paolo Damiani (Pane e Tempesta, Classiche Musiche Leggere), Alfredo Paixão (Firts Name Oona), Francesco Bearzatti (Noise in the box).

Born in Naples on august 1977, He graduated in Jazz Guitar at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Professors Paolo Damiani and Danilo Rea, with whom he immediately started a close musical collaboration.Masciari is the winner of the prestigious US award “Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead for performers and composers”, Washington D.C “, 2007, awarded to him by legendary musicians such as Curtis Fuller and Dr. Billy Taylor.
