This is a bonus track for the album “Too Marvelous for Words” by Domenico Sanna Trio recorded and published in 2010.
Originally discarded from the entire album release, because there were some playing errors but the mood is great….Without the slightest concession to the sterile virtuosity, is beautifully accompanied by two of the most representative musicians of their generation: Marco Valeri on drums, whose list of collaborations isalready almost as long as that of his far more experienced partner, George Rosciglione double bass, famous protagonist of Italian jazz since the early 60’s. An avant-garde classic. his trio led by pianist Domenico Sanna, winner of the Jimmy Awards as best pianist Tuscia in Jazz 2008, prize Luca Flores 2009, and has, despite of his young age, collaborations with national and international artists: Stefano Di Battista and Nicky Nicolai they recorded their last album “Over the Sun” for Universal Music, Rick Margitza with whom he recorded “One Special Night in Italy” Tuscia in Jazz Records with Flavio Boltro, Michel Rosciglione, Remi Vignolo and Francisco Mela, Jd Allen that cut “Too High” in the quintet Marco Acquarelli, Dave Liebman with whom he recorded again for the Tuscia in Jazz Records and again Steve Grossman, Roberto Gatto, Greg Hutchinson, Gege Munari, Dede Ceccarelli, Fabio Morgera, Daniele Tittarelli and many others. It has been called one of the most refined and interesting pianist of the moment, with a personal touch, and is beautifully accompanied by two of the most representative musicians of their generation: Marco Valeri, drummer and composer icon now for the new generations of musicians from Rome: Dado Moroni, Dave Liebman, Danilo Rea, Eddie Gomez, Kurt Rosenwinkel, George Garzone, Eddie Henderson, Steve Grossman, John Amato, Flavio Boltro. His list of collaborations is almost as long as that of his far more experienced partner, Giorgio Rosciglione bass, famous protagonist of Italian jazz since the early 60’s. He has recorded over 100 CDs and worked with the best jazz in Italy and in the world, the likes of George Coleman, Louis Hayes, Tony Scott, Kenny Clark, Tooth Thielemans, Benny Golson, Kenny Barron, Mulgrew Miller, Joe Pass, Lee Konitz, Art Farmer, Freddy Hubbard, Bobby Durham and others. Given the sensitivity and talent of the people involved that the music can not be very thick.
